We strive to empower our members to become agents of change in their communities and beyond. As a network of YouthBuild programs throughout the state of California, our main objective is to raise funds and resources to run our programs. Through the power of service and commitment to education, our members gain more than a GED or High School Diploma. They revitalize their communities, become leaders, and are active agents for good.
On Thursday, May 30th CCEO YouthBuild held its first fundraising event, the Young Leaders Recognition Luncheon at the Los Angeles Turners Center just north of LAX. Over 200 students from 26 YouthBuild programs will participate in workshops, discussion forums, and activities that will work to enhance engagement in civic leadership of low-income young people in California.
